What we do 

 

ARD Family Resource Centre provides a range of universal and targeted services and development opportunities that address the needs of our local community.  

These include:

• Information, advice and support to target groups and families.

• Information concerning a range of services and development opportunities available locally.

• Advice on accessing rights and entitlements and onward referrals.

• Education courses and training opportunities.

• Counselling and support to individuals and groups.

• ​

We also help support the establishment and maintenance of new community and existing groups to meet local needs and strive to develop capacity and leadership within our community and support personal and group development.  We also provide practical assistance to groups such as help with organizational structures, assistance with accessing funding or advice on how to address specific social issues.

Our vision is that all children, families, individuals, and communities will actively participate and be included in a society that is equal, equitable, inclusive, and non-discriminatory and which will enable their optimal well-being.
